The Significance of Qingzang Railroad Construction

　　Qingzang Railroad is another milestone for Chinese engineering technology development after Three Gorges Project Its completion signifies the ambition of Chinese people to conquer natural difficulties and their hope to share the fruit of reform and development with the people from West China.
 
　　Tibet is known to the world not only by its beautiful scenery but also its remoteness, vastness and inaccessibility. Undertaken in extremely difficult conditions, Qingzang Railroad Construction has broken several records in the world engineering history: the highest rail route through vast land of cold earth men has ever approached and longest project period under the longest oxygen shortage working condition. But now, the hard work of our lovely constructors are being paid off : first , the resource and talent exchanges between East and West China may easy to obtian in response to our government’s call : Grand Development of The West; Second, people,especially Tibetans, will travel easily to study and do business in developed east regions and bring Hi-tech ,high quality personel as well as investment home.Finally, it may serve as the bridge linking Han people and Tibetans and other ethnic minorities.

　　In all, I may suggest we follow the spirit of Qingzang Railroad constructors: to make impossible possible and work hard to achieve our goal in life.
